Parminder Singh Brar is State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab and Incharge of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. A trained lawyer, former national champion cyclist and sports administrator, he has spent two decades in organisational politics, from founding a student movement in 2004 to leading campaign operations at state level.
His political journey began in 2004, when he founded and led the Student Organisation of India as its first President. Over the following decade he served as the youngest Secretary General of the Youth Akali Dal, headed the party's IT Wing from 2014 to 2018, and led war room operations across two state election cycles in 2012 and 2017. In 2016 he served as Officer on Special Duty to Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, gaining direct experience in state-level governance, and returned to lead the Student Organisation of India as National President from 2018 to 2021.
He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was appointed State Secretary of BJP Punjab in 2022. By 2023 he had assumed the role of State General Secretary, and in August 2026 he was re-confirmed in that position in the reorganised state team. He also serves as Incharge of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
Brar is married with one child and remains committed to Punjab's development through his legal, administrative, and political work.
